The way the car Rolls Royce came about was through the partnership that was formed between Charles Stewart Rolls and Fredrick Henry Royce in the year 1906. The six cylinder Silver Ghost was manufactured and launched in the year 1906 and this was the beginning of the most grand beginning of the kind never to falter upon.

In the year 1940, the Crewe factory was opened and after the war the first car manufactured here was the Silver Wraith. After this car all the car bodies were made in-house.

The Silver Spirit which was designed in the year 1980 was made according to the new set international safety policies and regulations. The car had a new style to it that was extremely aesthetic and yet at the same time functional and practical as well.
In the 1990s, the Rolls Royce company was up for sale once again. Everyone expected BMW to go on and win the bid but Volkswagen went on to win it. But, the two german car manufacturing giants decided to halve the spoils and that is how Volkswagen went on to keep the Bentley and the Crewe manufacturing plant and BMW the facility in Goodwood in England.
The Rolls Royce fleet of cars has the best of sedans, coupes and convertibles. For the smaller car from Rolls Royce you can always opt for the Ghost. Although there are several competitors for Rolls Royce none of them have been able to get to the classiness that it offers.
