Hummer is one of the most recognized of brands although the brand is no longer operational. There is nothing more coveted and instantly recognized then riding in a Hummer SUV. It is one of the most extraordinary car on the roads today.

This was the time when the company in the 1970 was bought over by American Motors and had two divisions to it. One of the divisions was functional in Toledo Ohio producing Commercial vehicles and the other one was in South Bend in Indiana and made Government Products.
The first of the Hummers was called the H1. It was sold for a few years but was stopped in the year 2006. Then, there were quite a few other Hummers around that were just perfectly enough made for the urban roads. The brand was retired in the year early 2010. The Hummer models that were produced are the H2, H3, SUT, H3 and H3T.
The new range of Hummer such as the H3 has the 4WD drivetrain and an engine 3.7L V8 engine that can be auto or manual in the base model. The Hummer comes with a fuel economy that is anywhere between 15 to 16 mpg. The horse power that it can deliver is 200 to 300 hp.
